GENERAL FOOD DISTRIBUTION

IEDP Institute Education Disabled People  is non profit Somali organization for the welfare, rehabilitation and advocacy  of the Somali  disabled people and vulnerable groups. The organization was established the year 1993 in Mogadishu by group of Somali scholars mostly persons with disabilities.

IEDP with partner of the WFP Somali  launched general food distribution in Banadir region particularly the Wadajir district which is befitting(3872)  three thousands eight hundreds seventy  two persons of disabled people and unaccompanied older people in the for part of the Wadajir district each beneficiary was given 25kg maize 0.5 SCB 3.6  oil . the food distribution sited are Boocle 1400,   Galbeed 1250 and Xoosh 1222

IEDP with coloration of the   community leaders, religious and women groups in the  Dharkenlei district managed to distribute food aid the last two month. And this project will continue nearly six month.    

IEDP employed  nearly thirty persons both male and female unemployed youth groups in the district who are the monitors and distributors of the food aid.
